Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981, and a part of SSC's Board of Directors from 2011, was the founding co-artistic directors for Speech of Fire. As SSC's Artistic Directors, Ash-Morgan also served in the capacities of costume/set designer, producer, composer/music directors as well as text coaches. Markie Post was involved with a few game shows as well as her acting career. In her early years, she was brought up in Walnut Creek with her siblings and the poetry writer Marylee Post. Las Lomas High School is where she attended and participated in cheerleading. She briefly studied at Pomona College before graduating from Lewis & Clark College. Post had been married before the wedding to Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross is her husband since 1982. They have two daughters. Post is a wonderful actress, an ideal wife and mom and she is a role model to numerous Hollywood famous people.
